SPECIES RANGE: southern California east to western Texas
ADULT FLIGHT TIME: March to October (Knudson & Bordelon, Texas) and January to November (per T. Mustelin, southern California)

Field observations:
Ova I found ova on new plant growth - new flower buds from winter rains. Therefore, adult flight occured January to early February. Because ova delveloped with larvae emerging mid February, then adults emerging mid March, it is possible that this species produces more than one generation in a year.
