Larval morphology very similar to Catocola larvae.
- Small subventral seatae form a fringe (rootlets) around the body. Ventral surface with 1 red spot per segment. (see image below).
- 8th abdominal segment (A8) has raise dorsal pinacula.
- Larvae variable in color
