Field Notes & Observations:
8/12/2012 - Looking up a black cherry, I saw a tiny red object on underside of leaf. After noticing feeding damage (small window-like areas of the leaf where leaf tissue was chewed out) on the leaf, I pretty much figured the little object to be a Zygaenid.
  - Climbing up the cherry tree to collect the Zygaenid caterpillar, I found several early stages of Acronicta caterpillars. This species of Noctuidae also skeletonizes leaves and leaving hints of one of many lepidoptera possibilities.
